Different Types of Motorcycles

There are 3 basic classes of street motorbikes : full dress or touring bikes, cruisers and sport bikes. Though some bike designs have a tendency to bridge the openings between these classes, most motorbikes fall simply into one of the 3 groups.

Full dress bikes are so-named due to their additional hardware to make long rides or touring more practical. They have hard-shell trunks on each side of the back fender, full fairings, windscreens and a dashboard.
