Drag racing is an auto or bike competition that utilises straight, level, and reasonably short -mile or -mile tracks, though distances can alter. Rivals ordinarily race by twos, side-by-side.
The autos start the race from a dead stop, increasing to great speeds in a short interval. The 1st car to pass the traps or end of the official track wins.
The drag racing track extends adequately outside the traps to permit autos to slow safely. Drag races are often run in heats. A heat is one finished drag race, and many occur in a single racing event. [Read more...]
